I am using high density and very high quality foam. it have enough density. And it will not go flat after time.
Note: this seat pan has modified, it is narrow at the rear, I am including a custom rear bracket, it is wider then the seat pan. if it doesn't work for you please make new bracket to fit your bike
you will need to remove the rear fender and possibly the bar on top of rear fender to fit this seat, also you might need to do some frame modification
I have include many picture with measurement, please look at it closely before make the purchase
it will fit CX500 Standard Deluxe model from 1978 to 1980
